Camila is a 21 years old photographer from Guatemala.

She believes that photography is a tool that can help her show different realities in the world. She tries to leave a message with every picture she takes. Her biggest goals are to make people understand there is not only one right way of living, to make people be more thankful for the life they have and to develop social awareness through her photographs.

Every time she travels to a new country she enjoys immersing in their culture to have a real understanding of their traditions and different lifestyles. She loves staying for a long period of time in each country so she can have a real connection with the locals. 

She dislikes routines, so during her travels she will try to make every day unique. Her favorite places are small towns and villages, she would rather be on the top of a mountain than in a city. Her curiosity has no end, she never knows where her next destination will be. Stepping out of her comfort zone is something she always enjoys doing.

Currently she is studying a bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication in Taipei. During 2015 she finished two internships on photojournalism. One in Nepal and one in Kenya, each of them lasted a month. She worked with freelance photographers and for a local newspaper.
